Kristin Fisher is joining CNN in 2021. The reporter will serve as the Space and Defense Correspondent. She is a reporter covering everything starting with NASA, Space Force, Space Force and commercial space companies to the advent of Space Tourism. Kristin's parents are each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now worked as an White House reporter for FOX News reporting on the both the Biden and Trump administrations in space matters. In that period, Kristin was also a reporter covering impeachment proceedings for the president, the 2020 Presidential campaign and efforts by two administrations to combat the Coronavirus pandemic. Former president Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan on a highly-restricted trip. Prior to being hired by the channel in 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade advancing through local TV news markets in Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she received the Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the city's CBS affiliate. Using her skills behind the camera, Kristin founded Field Mouse Films in 2014, which focused on making documentary-style movies for corporate clients, such as Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin graduated with a Bachelors in Science in journalism from Boston University. She is married to her husband at Washington, D.C., and she has a 3 year old daughter.
